Belt Tension

Assembly

span

belt deflection

Belt deflection is 1/64” per inch of span at

proper belt tension!

BELT INSTALLATION AND TENSION

adjust the belts

Tighten the (4) jackscrews hex nuts

at the motor base to adjust the V-belt.

Maintain shaft alignment. Adjust

the motor base equally at all (4)

jackscrews. Tighten the V-belts to

the correct tension. When the V-belt

tension is correct, tighten the top on

the jackscrews to lock the motor base

in position. Belt deflection is 1/64” per

inch of span.
