6.7 REPLACEMENT OF THE ACCELERATOR
Take the small knob (1) off the accelerator.
Lift the wheels cover [see 2.5].
Disconnect the end of the cable (2) from the coupling
terminal (3) on the engine.
Remove the clamp (4), undo the two screws (5) and
ta ke out the accelerator together with the cable.
On reassembling, put the accelerator lever in the
«MI NIMUM» position shown on the label, connect the
end of the wire (2) to the terminal (3) on the engine
after having moved the cursor (6) in the same «MIN-
IMUM» position specific to each type of engine and
shown in the instruction handbook.
Lastly, put back the clamp (4) and …
Close up the wheels cover [see 2.5].
