The only control required for instrument operation is:
RESPONSE TIME
jumper (Figure 2-3)
This control establishes the response time for the rate
display indication and the 4-20 mA output to respond to a
change in the measured flow rate. Use the
LONG
re-
sponse time setting (approximately 10 seconds) when the
measured flow rate fluctuates by more than 5% of the full
scale. In all other cases, use the
SHORT
response time
setting (approximately 2 seconds).
WARNING: THE “METER OFFSET,” “20 mA,” “4 mA,”
AND “METER SPAN” CONTROLS ARE FACTORY-SET
AND SEALED TO PREVENT ADJUSTMENT. THE
INSTRUMENT WARRANTY BECOMES VOID IF THESE
CONTROL SEALS ARE BROKEN. FURTHERMORE, IF
THE INSTRUMENT IS RETURNED AND ANY OF THESE
CONTROLS REQUIRES RE-ADJUSTMENT, THERE
WILL BE A FACTORY-SETUP CHARGE.
NOTE:
The four slide switches (S01, S02, S03, and S04)
and the
“PUSH TO RE-INITIATE”
switch are only
provided when the Model 677F is equipped with the
optional 6-digit resetting totalizer. The four slide
switches have been factory-set and should not be
changed.
