CPU Configuration also features the following setting:
Setting Description
Hyper-Threading
Enables/disables Hyper-Threading, which allows the processor to work more
efficiently by processing two sets of instructions at the same time.
Select Enabled for Windows XP and Linux, which are optimized for
Hyper-Threading technology. (This is the default setting.)
Select Disabled for other OS that are not optimized for Hyper-Threading.
When disabled, only one thread per enabled core is enabled.
