11.3.2. Checking the emergency stop

CAUTION!

THIS SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY.
CHECK THE EMERGENCY STOP ON A WEEKLY BASIS.

Applying the emergency stop device

(see section 4.6.4).

Checking procedure:



Switch on the machine and start a drying program.



Press the emergency stop button.



The drum will stop rotating and the heating system will turn off.



The beep will sound and a warning message will be displayed stating that the Emergency Stop is activated.



Unlock the Emergency Stop button.



Press the

key. The Emergency Stop icon disappears, the beep stops, and the

MAIN MENU

icons are

displayed on the screen.

DANGER!

IF A FUNCTION IS DETECTED THAT IS DIFFERENT FROM THAT DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION,

DISCONNECT ALL THE MACHINE’S SUPPLY LINES AND CONTACT THE AUTHORISED TECHNICAL

SERVICE URGENTLY.

NEVER USE THE MACHINE WITHOUT A PROPERLY WORKING EMERGENCY STOP DEVICE.
