ROASTING RECIPES
ROAST LAMB
one 5-6 Ib. leg of lamb
1/2 large onion, thinly sliced
5-6 cloves garlic, chopped
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup dry red white
1/2 cup light soy sauce
2 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wash and trim the thicker portions of fat from the lamb.
Marinate lamb with all the ingredients except for onions. Cover and refrigerate
overnight. Take meat out from marinade, saving the remaining for basting. Place sliced
onion on the meat. Follow Roasting instructions to cook 80-90 minutes for medium
lamb, basting with reserved marinade. Cool before slicing. Makes 6-8 servings.
ROASTING BEEF RIBS
1, 3-Ib. beef rib
Olive oil
Salt and garlic pepper
Lemon juice
Wash, rinse, and dry the meat. Let it stand at room temperature before preparing for
roasting. Trim off all excess fat. Rub well with olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Set aside for one hour. Place the ribs in the Roasting Tray with the ribs facing upward.
Insert a reliable meat thermometer in the thick part of the meat. Baste with drippings
halfway through roasting. Use Cooking Time and Temperature Chart as a guide for the
roasting. When ribs are done, take out of oven, let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Makes 6-8
servings.
ROAST BEEF TENDERLOIN
1, 2-lb. piece of beef tenderloin
2 1/2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
3 teaspoons black peppercorns
3 teaspoons white peppercorns
garlic and salt to taste
Preheat oven to 375°F. Wash and trim any excess fat. Crush peppercorns. Place meat
in the Roasting Tray, spread butter over the meat, and sprinkle with crushed
peppercorns. Roast for about 40-50 minutes for medium doneness. Cool before slicing.
Makes 4 servings.

BROILING
1.
Remove Lid. Use Griddle Top as a top cover when the oven is in operation.
2.
Connect the power supply.
3.
Ensure the Oil/Crumb drip tray is in place.
4.
Press the “BROIL/GRILL&GRIDDLE” button to select broil mode.
5.
The time is pre-set to 30 minutes. Using the “INCREASE” or “DECREASE” button
to select the desired cooking time.
6.
Press the “START” button, the oven begin to preheat automatically.
7.
Brush the food with oils, sauces or seasonings as desired and place on wire rack.
8.
Once preheating completed, the oven beeps.
9.
Place the wire rack on the middle or top slots with oven mitts. Food should be
placed as close as possible to the top heating element without touching it.
10. Place the Roasting tray on the lower slots to catch the drippings. It is advisable to
leave the door slightly ajar.
11. Press the “START” button. The clock on the LED display will show the time
counting down in one (1) minute intervals.
12. Turn food over midway through the prescribed cooking time.
13. The oven will beep eight (8) times to signal the end of the broil cycle and the word
“END” will appear flashing on the LED display. Press the “PAUSE/CANCEL”
button to clear the display. Pull the wire rack out with oven mitts. Remove the
food with the appropriate utensils.
14. Unplug the appliance when finished using.
Note:
The temperature is pre-set to 450°F and not adjustable.

USEFUL TIPS FOR BROILING:
z
Place food close to top heating element for top browning (but do not let food touch
heating element).
z
Brush food to be cooked with oil or sauce.
z
Flip food over halfway through cooking time.
z
Broil Fish Fillet directly in the roasting tray. Turn it over halfway through your
cooking time.
z
You may use a small amount of cooking spray or oil on your bake rack or roasting
tray.
z
You may also use a heatproof dish to be placed on the bake rack for broiling.
