General Use:
1. Place food on the racks, on foil or in an oven-safe pan, per recipe
directions. For best results, keep food approximately 1" from the glass
pot wall to allow maximum hot air circulation.
Tips
:
•We recommend using the racks to allow for better air
circulation and even cooking.
•Brush the racks with oil or spray with cooking spray to ease
cleanup.
•Avoid stacking food in an attempt to cook more food. If air
cannot circulate around the food, only the top of the food will
be cooked.
2. Close the lid (ensure the lid does not touch the food).
3. Attach the plug to the fryer and plug the power cord into an electrical
outlet.
4. Set the temperature per recipe directions.
5. Set the timer to the desired time. The red and green lights will illuminate,
as well as the interior light, as the oven begins to heat.
6. When the fryer reaches the desired temperature, the green light and
interior light will turn off. These lights will automatically turn off and on
during cooking as needed, to maintain selected temperature. The
temperature may be adjusted at any time while the oven is cooking.
7. To stop cooking at any time, turn the timer to OFF or open the lid.
8. When the set time has elapsed, the fryer will turn off and all lights will
turn off. Unplug the fryer from the outlet.
9. Wearing oven mitts, lift the lid with the handle and remove the food. Use
Note:
Before first use, heat up the empty fryer at maximum
temperature for 5 minutes. This will burn off any excess
residue from the manufacturing process. A slight amount of
smoke may be produced, but this is not considered a defect.
