Auto-reset Total Precipitation:

ON or OFF

ON resets the total precipitation reading to zero when the clock time
reads 23:59:59 to 00 (midnight).

OFF results in continuous total precipitation measurement.

Rain Gauge Tip Size:

GMX550/551 default

0.000 (can be set for 0.000 to 9.998 mm to match connected gauge).

When a Rain only Indication sensor is connected then with the Tip Size set to

zero (i.e.: 0.000) the Precipitation Status shall update as follows:

Precipitation Status shall report Y whilst the contact/ relay is in its closed state.

Precipitation Status shall report N whilst the contact/relay is in its open state.

When a Tipping bucket device is connected to the GMX550/GMX551 then set

the Tip size to match that of the tipping bucket.

GMX100/240/400/541/600

default 0.080, (set for 0.08mm to use with the Solid State
Rain Gauge).

GMX531

default 0.200 (can be set for 0.000 to 9.998 mm to match connected gauge)

For an indication of Precipitation Status in the data string (Y (yes) or N (no)) refer to the Reporting
page and select PRECIPS.
