iFMC
iFMC
(Integrated Fixed Mobile Convergence) enables the user to be reached on his device
phone numbers even on other phones (e.g., mobile phones), which are not part of the
PBX. Outgoing calls are also possible via iFMC numbers or devices from the Gigaset T300
PRO / Gigaset T500 PRO user interface and using CTI clients and connectors. In the latter
case (CTI), the iFMC must however be set as the primary phone (
To use iFMC, store the phone number where the user is to be reached. This number can
only be assigned once system-wide, i.e., it cannot be used in two or more iFMC
configurations or by more than one user!
The phone numbers on the PBX, for which iFMC is to be used, should be selected in the
Phones
tab in user settings. By default, all the user's phone numbers will be included in
the iFMC.
Call delay
: It is therefore possible for a call to be accepted on the system phone for a
correspondingly high number of seconds, before the parallel call is started.
Include group calls
: As a result of this option, additional calls are directed to the user groups
via iFMC. This applies for all phone numbers in all groups, to which the user belongs.
Confirm answering calls by keypress
: If this option is active, where there is an incoming
call on the mobile phone, initially a voice message is played, whereupon the actual call
can be accepted by pressing a digit. This procedure avoids calls being automatically
directed via iFMC to the mobile phone's mailbox (if this setting has been activated on the
mobile device).
Time-dependent use of iFMC
Please note
By default, all PBX users are authorised to set up and use iFMC. You can change this
in the authorisation settings.
