any standard terminal software. To increase the versatility of the EE2400-S
a large network environment, GigaFast engineers have developed an Auto
Uplink Detect feature that detects if the connected client is another switch, hub,
NIC or router. If so, the EE2400-S will automatically make the client port an
uplink port. When connecting the EE2400-S to a network, just plug it in, an
the EE2400-S will do all the rest, making it a fully Plug-and-Play solution to
networking. With VLAN, Trunking, and Auto Uplink features, the EE2400-S
provides all the bandwidth and versatility required to build a modern day
high-speed network.
