actuator, a fresh R

procedure must be performed.
Before starting the
R
ESET
procedure, it is suggested to verify the electrical
connection with the TUBE LOCK.
12.1.
Reset Procedure
This procedure is used to configure a single actuator, configure a set of synchronizable
models or with electromechanical TUBE LOCK.
IMPORTANT. The dip-switch must be set with the actuators not powered. After
each modification wait a few seconds (~5 s) before powering the actuator again
in order to make it effective.

Set the dip-switch to
OFF
. With multi-device configuration (or with TUBE LOCK
electromechanical lock) where
G
REEN
wires have been connected, the dip-switch setting
must be performed only for one actuator, the other devices will be associated
automatically.

Power up the actuators (it does not matter whether they are in the open or closed
position). The initialization phase has begun. The actuator starts moving at once
(after
about 8 seconds if a TUBE LOCK lock is installed)
and performs a total closure stroke (rack
completely retracted) and then moves about 5 cm in the opening direction. During this
phase, make sure that there are no obstructions impeding movement of the rack and
wait for all machines to complete the procesure in the case of synchronized actuators.

On completion of the operation, each connected machine will flash an orange light to
indicate the end of the
R
ESET
procedure. The number of flashes will be different for each
device, indicating the address acquired (actuator 1 → 1 flash → pause → 1 flash →
pause;
actuator 2 → 2 flashes → pause → 2 flashes → pause, and so on).

The power supply to the machines can now be turned off.
▪
The opening stroke
(rack output)
can be left as produced in the factory
(maximum stroke)
or it can be customized at will; this is decided at this step.

Operate the actuator in
O
PEN
mode
without interrupting the power supply
up to the
desired position (stroke customization). The instant you remove power, that will be the
extended limit stop position.
This extended position will be stored and used as stroke
limit when O
PENING
. In the case of synchronized actuators they will all move
synchronously and stop at the same position.

In case the opening is not at the desired position, the
R
ESET
procedure must be repeated.
For operations to be carried out on the electromechanical TUBE LOCK lock, refer
to the relative use and installation manual.
12.2.
Actuator limit stop
The opening and closing limit stop position is automatic and cannot be programmed. The
actuator stops as a result of the power absorption that the actuator undergoes when the rack
(on the way out) reaches its inner limit stop or (on the way back) when the door is completely
closed with the seals completely compressed, i.e. when the absorbed power exceeds a
preset threshold in the microprocessor.
