2A Telemetry (External) Input – remote switch
Volt free input or TTL Input. To be used to switch lamp on remotely or automatically
using a shorting link (factory default). Telemetry input can only be used if photocell
actively indicates it is dark – to avoid switching lamp on during the day.

. Volt-free input non polarity sensitive – uses pins 3&4 of 6 way connector.

TTL is polarity sensitive - uses pins 1&2 of 6 way connector. Pin 1 is ground and
Pin 2 is TTL input; 0V lamp off, 5V lamp on.
Factory default:
Pins 3&4 have a shorting link inserted so lamp automatically turns on
when activated by photocell.
2B Photocell Adjustment
The light switching level of the photocell can be adjusted if required to meet specific site
requirements. Move jumper to required setting as shown on the PCB.
- H – High Lux setting
(Top Position):
20 lux on / 40 lux off
- M – Medium Lux setting
(Middle Position):
10 lux on / 20 lux off
- L - High Lux setting
(Bottom Position):
5 lux on / 10 lux off
Factory Default:
– Medium Sensitivity
2C Lamp Power Adjustment
There is a potentiometer to adjust power setting of the illuminator. This is adjustable
from 20% to 100%.
Turn potentiometer anti-clockwise to reduce power
from 100% max to 20% min.
Factory default:
Max power 100%.
2D Photocell Following Output
A photocell following output contact is provided. This is a volt free optocoupled relay

. Factory
default:
no connection.
If Optional Items 2A (External Input) and/or 2D (Photocell Following Output) are
required – then replace the bung in the rear of the back cover of central PSU with the
spare cable gland provided and use suitably rated additional cable wired to the 6 way
connector – 2 core if you want to use either option or 4 core if you want to use both
options. Maximum cable outer diameter of 4mm to 6.5mm and maximum core size of
0.14 to 0.5 mm2 (28 to 20 AWG) Solid or Stranded. Ensure cable gland is securely
fitted and suitably tightened around cable to maintain IP66 weatherproof rating of the
product.
