Instruction Manual
Es un medidor electrónico con cámara de medición de aluminio, con
engranajes ovalados de gran precisión, con Display-LCD de alta
luminosidad. Está concebido para el transvase de aceite mineral, diesel,
petróleo para calefacción, aceite para motores hasta SAE-140 (consultar
otros líquidos). Se intercala en la línea de distribución de aceites y su uso
es privado. Los parámetros de calibración y totalizador de litros están
almacenados en memoria NO VOLÁTIL.
This electronic meter has an aluminium measuring chamber, with oval
gears of high accuracy, with high luminous Display-LCD. It is suitable for
transferring mineral oil, diesel, central heating oil, motor oil up to SAE-140
(check other liquids). It can be inserted on the oil distribution line. It is for
private use. It has calibration parameters and stored litre totalizer on a
PERMANENT memory.

El presente manual describe el modo de utilizar el medidor según las
hipótesis del proyecto, las características técnicas, los tipos de instalación,
el uso, el mantenimiento y la formación relativa a los posibles riesgos.
El manual de instrucciones debe considerarse como una parte del
medidor y conservarse para futuras consultas durante toda la vida útil
de la misma. Se aconseja conservarlo en lugar seco y protegido.
This manual describes how to use the meter according to the project
hypothesis, the technical features, the types of installation, the use, the
maintenance and the training regarding to possible dangers.
The instruction manual must be considered as a part of the meter and
keep it for future inquiries during all its working life.
We suggest keeping it in a dry and protected place.
El manual refleja la situación técnica en el momento de la venta del
medidor y no puede considerarse inadecuado por el hecho de ser
posteriormente actualizado según las nuevas experiencias. El fabricante se
reserva el derecho de actualizar la producción y los manuales sin estar
obligado a poner al día la producción y los manuales anteriores.
The manual reflects the technical situation at the moment of the meter sale
and cannot be considered inadequate for the reason of being updated
afterwards according to the new experiences. The manufacturer is keeping
the right to update the production and the manuals without being forced to
update the production and previous manuals.
ATENCIÓN:
El contacto con el agua y la humedad puede dañar la
electrónica. El equipo no es resistente al agua. Instalar
en interiores o en lugares protegidos de las
inclemencias metereológicas.
ATTENTION:
The contact with water and humidity can damage the
electronics. The kit is not waterproof. Please install it indoors or
where it is protected against the inclemency of the weather.
3. INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

La seguridad de los medidores MGE-40, en cuanto a calidad y fiabilidad de
los materiales, viene determinada por las reglamentaciones de la Directiva
de la CE y avalada por los controles de calidad de las empresas líderes en
el sector, garantizando además la ausencia de toxicidad y efectos
ecológicos negativos. Para evitar posibles accidentes, recomendamos leer
detenidamente los siguientes avisos y precauciones:
The meter security with regard to the equipment quality and reliability is
determined by the EC Directive Regulations and is endorsed by the quality
controls of the enterprise leaders on the sector, and it also guarantees the
toxicity absence and the negative ecological effects. To avoid the possible
accidents, it is advisable to read the following warnings and cautions
carefully:
3.1. ATENCIÓN:
Una mala instalación o uso de este medidor puede
causar graves consecuencias, tanto físicas como
materiales o medioambientales.
Se aconseja la
instalación de un filtro para evitar la entrada de sólidos en la
cámara de medición.
3.1. ATTENTION:
A wrong meter installation or use can cause serious effects
both physical and material or environmental. It is advisable
to install a filter to avoid the solid inlet in the measuring
chamber.
3.2. ATENCIÓN:
No fumar en el ambiente de trabajo cuando se utilicen
líquidos inflamables o hidrocarburos. PUEDE
ORIGINARSE UN INCENDIO.

When the inflammable fluids or hydrocarbons are
transferred, do not smoke. A FIRE CAN BE CAUSED.
3.3. ATENCIÓN:
Asegurarse de la correcta instalación del circuito de
trasiego, comprobando la ausencia de fugas.

Make sure of the correct installation of the decanting
circuit, checking the leak absence.
3.4. ATENCIÓN:
En caso de manipulación, asegurarse previamente que la
línea no tenga presión.

4.1. Analizar la dirección del flujo

4.2. Retirar los tapones de los orificios de entrada y salida

4.3. ATENCIÓN:
Utilizar elementos sellantes con sumo cuidado, sobre
todo, que no entren restos en la cámara de medición. Se
podría producir una avería en el medidor.

Use the sealing elements with care. Take care that no
remains go into the measuring chamber. It can be a meter
breakdown.
4.4. En las tuberías y roscas de la instalación es necesario utilizar
componentes de estanqueidad que sean resistentes a los productos a
transvasar.
4.4. It is necessary to use sealing components on the installation pipes and
threads, which are proved against petrol and chemical products to transfer.
5. INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
5. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- El medidor no dispone de ningún sistema de encendido. Está siempre
conectado, con el display encendido y preparado para realizar una medida.
- The meter does not have any starting system. It is always connected with
the display switched on and ready to make a measuring.
- La pantalla nos muestra el volumen con 2, 1 o ningún decimal, en función
del número que se visualice. Por ejemplo, si el número está entre 0,00 y
999,99 se visualizan dos decimales; si está entre 1000,0 y 9999,9 sólo se
mostrará un decimal; y si es igual o superior a 10 000 no se mostrará
ningún decimal.
- The display shows the volume with 2, 1 or no decimal according to the
number that is shown. For example, if the number is among 0.00 and
999.99, it shows 2 decimals; if it is among 1000.0 and 9999.9, it shows 1
decimal; and if it is equal to or higher than 10,000, it does not show any
decimal.
