How to operate the unit

Notes on rechargeable battery

• The rechargeable battery of the Geratherm

active is a built-in rechargeable lithium-pol-

ymer battery. Please do not attempt, nor allow unauthorised maintenance personnel to take the

blood pressure monitor apart or to force it open.

• In the context of normal use, the battery can be recharged approximately 300 times. If the battery

does not load or the device cannot be used normally, please consult the retailer. If you measure

your blood pressure three times per day, the device can be used for up to 40 days without being

charged.

• You cannot use the blood pressure monitor while it is charging. Once the device is fully charged,

please unplug it promptly.

• Use only the authorised USB cable and power adaptor for the Geratherm

(model: BLJ-

06L050100U-V), to charge it. Use the special power adaptor and USB cable that comply with

CE safety standards to achieve the best performance and protect your monitor.

• While it is charging, do not touch the charger connection and the patient simultaneously.

• Do not attempt to replace the rechargeable battery in your blood pressure monitor. The battery is

built-in and not replaceable.

• Avoid charging the blood pressure monitor in extremely high or low temperatures.

• Only charge the battery according to the instructions provided with the blood pressure monitor.

Store and use the blood pressure monitor in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Keep it away

from fire and heat sources, otherwise the battery could explode!
