3. When reusing a silicone tube with a Luer connector and a ring-
shaped adapter, periodically cut off the loose end of the tube,
connected to SAF-file nozzle when it is stretched. Replace silicone
irrigation tubes when they are completely worn.

2. Inspect the pump cassette in a
timely manner for a firm
connection between the cassette’s
inner tube and its outlet nozzles,
as well as the lack of skews or
pinches of the inner tube.
If these defects are found, replace
the pump cassette with a new
one.
