Test the Lift/Drive Select Function
(if equipped)
54 Press down the foot switch.
55 Move the drive control handle off center and
activate a boom function toggle switch.
Result: No boom functions should operate. The
machine will move in the direction indicated on
the control panel.
Repair any malfunctions before operating the
machine.
Test the Contact Alarm (if equipped)
56 Do not activate the foot switch and press on
the contact alarm cable to release the actuator
from the switch socket.
Result: The contact alarm lights will not flash
and the machine horn will not sound.
57 Activate the foot switch by pressing the foot
switch down.
Result: The contact alarm lights lights will flash
and the machine horn will sound.
58 Insert the actuator into the switch socket.
Result: The lights and horn will turn off.
59 Activate the foot switch by pressing the foot
switch down and press on the contact alarm
cable to release the actuator from the switch
socket.
Result: The contact alarm lights will flash and
the machine horn will not sound.
60 Operate each machine function.
Result: All machine functions should not
operate.
61 Insert the actuator into the switch socket.
Result: The lights and horn will turn off.
62 Operate each machine function.
Result: All machine functions should operate.
