MAINTENANCE
Turn the switch to the off position and unplug the unit from the power source before performing any mainte-
nance.
Keep the outside of the unit clean and wipe off excessive dust or dirt. Vacuum out any particles that may have
settled into the motor housing. / Replace worn, cut, frayed or damaged power cord immediately. / Replace worn,
cut, or damaged dust hose immediately. / Replace worn, cut, damaged collector bag immediately. / Clean or
replace filter on a regular basis. / Inspect inside of all pipes, fittings hoses blast gates and connectors for accumu-
lated dust build-up or other obstructions and clean as needed. Remove sections and vacuum or manually remove
debris as needed. / Periodically check all fasteners and re-tighten any nut, bolt or screw that may have loosened
due to vibration.
CLEANING OR REPLACING THE FILTER
Turn the switch to the off position and unplug the unit from the power source before changing or cleaning the
filter.
Remove the collector bag. / Remove the steel collar by removing the flexible steel band from the channel on the
steel collar. / Pull the filter out of the collector unit by pulling down on the loop at the top of the filter. / Clean the
dust from the filter by using a vacuum. / Re-install the filter, steel collar and collector bag.
