Control medium

The medium whose increasing or 

decreasing pressure causes the actuator to 

be actuated and operated.

Intended area of use

 

WARNING

Use the actuator only for the intended 

purpose!

 

Otherwise the manufacturer liability 

and guarantee will be void.

 

Use the actuator only in accordance 

with the operating conditions specified 

in the contract documentation and 

operating instructions.

 

The actuator may only be used in 

potentially explosive zones confirmed 

in the declaration of conformity (ATEX). 

 

The GEMÜ ADA / ASR actuator controls 

butterfly valves and ball valves by being 

closed or opened by a control medium.

 

The actuator may only be used 

providing the product technical 

criteria are complied with

see 

chapter 5 "Technical data"

)
