Ethernet Interface
The Ethernet interface is available for EHS6T LAN only. The other Java Terminals do not sup-
port an Ethernet interface.

The Ethernet interface can be used as transparent data interface, for downloading new Java
Terminal firmware releases - module firmware as well as Ethernet sub-system software, and
also to access the implemented EHS6 module via AT command interface.
The Ethernet interface supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE standard 802.3.
This means that if connected to a PoE enabled router or PoE injector, the EHS6T LAN does no
longer need a separate power supply unit such as the mains adapter mentioned below.
