Configuring Auto IP Mode

Auto IP mode is used when there is no DHCP server (or router) available and each Sender 

and Receiver unit is connected to a switch.  When set to Auto IP mode, the Sender and 

Receiver unit will self-assign unique IP addresses (within the range of 

169.254.x.x

).  

Use this mode when the Sender and Receiver unit are directly connected. 

1.  Access the Web interface of the Sender (host) unit by entering the IP address of the 

Sender unit in a Web browser.

2.  Once the Web page is displayed, click the Utilities bar to expand it.
