Check and Replace the Air Cleaner
The air conditioner Air cleaner is located in
back of the glove compartment.
After long-term use, the air conditioner Air
cleaner will be blocked. If you feel that the
working efficiency of the air conditioner or
the heating airflow is extremely weakened, or
the window is liable to fogging, then the Air
cleaner must be replaced.
1. Press the two sides of the glove compart-
ment to release the hook. (See Figure 1)
2. Remove the Air cleaner as shown in the
following illustration. (See Figure 2)
3. Remove the Air cleaner screen from the
filter bracket. (See Figure 3)
4. Check the surface of the screen. (See Fig-
ure 4)
If it is not very dirty, you can use the com-
pressed air to blow it from the back. Do not
wash or lubricate the Air cleaner screen.
If it is very dirty, then you must replace it.
Notice
Make sure the smooth side of the air
screen is downward while the threaded
side is upward when installing the air
screen back on to the screen bracket.
Tip
Air cleaner should be correctly installed
in place. Operation of the air conditioner
with the Air cleaner removed will impair
the dust proof function and degrade the
air conditioning performance.
