UNI Bit Emulation
Handshake:
The printer activates the feedback DTR, whenever paper is missing. At the same time,
X-OFF is transmitted on the TxD line. If less than 32 free bytes are available in the input
buffer, the DTR line is activated as well. X-OFF is sent on the TxD line.

Character Sets:
The
Uni Bit
works with 40 or 80 characters / line. The 132 cpl font is cannot be realized
and is processed as 80 cpl.
Virtual print width is set to 560 pixels, 70 bytes:
Standard Print :
80 cpl = 7x16 font standard double height
Wide Format Print : 40 cpl = 7x16 font standard double height double width
Condensed Print:
80 cpl = 7x16 font standard double height
Cyrillic character set
only requires 20h – 7Fh (not implemented yet)
