Hydraulic control component malfunction
Before replacing the component, one must exclude the presence of a fault on
auxiliary/nearby devices that may be causing the malfunction. Refer to the
hydraulic circuit diagram in annex C and to the crawler manufacturer manual.
4.6 Electric malfunctions.
4.6.1
Fault detection.
There may be several malfunctions caused by electric faults, and they must
be detected properly:
•
for malfunctions on devices mounted originally on the crawler one must
refer to the Hitachi or JCB manufacturer manual;
•
for malfunctions relating to the drilling equipment refer to this manual.
4.6.2
Description of the electric system.
The electric system of the drilling unit is very simple and is described in the
diagrams in annex B. The system operates at voltage of 12[v]. All utilities are
fitted with a fuse for surge protection. The power supply of the drilling
machine is supplied by the fuse shown in
fig. 4.6.2.1
