Special Tools

The removal of the agitator assembly and the
basket assembly requires the use of special
tools or tools that you might not have on hand.

20-inch Ratchet Extension

The removal of the agitator assembly requires
the use of a 20-inch long ratchet extension to
reach the agitator bolt.

Basket Removal Tool

To remove the spin nut that secures the basket
assembly, you will need the tool shown at the
right. This special 36-mm socket and flat wrench
fits over the spin nut. Hitting the wrench with a
rubber mallet to turn it clockwise will loosen the
spin nut so the nut can be removed by hand.
