5.  Disconnect the control panel wire harness and 

remove it from the wire retainer.

6.  Remove the 2 Phillips-head screws that attach 

the top of the control panel to the front brace.

7.  Pull the top of the panel up and out from the 

top brace, then lift the control panel off the front 
panel.
