4. Click the Save button.
Adding a new user
Only a system administrator can create a user. However, the administrator can
assign access rights to managers to create new users.
To create a new user:
1. In the Menu toolbar click the User icon to display the User setup screen.
2. Click the Add User submenu. The Add User setup screen appears.
3. Enter the user’s name and password. The name cannot be longer than 12
characters with no spaces. The password cannot be longer than 8 characters
with no spaces.
4. Select the user’s privilege level: Admin, Manager, or Operator.
Changes are saved when you leave the screen.
Allocating user privileges
The Privilege screen lets you allocate access privileges to user groups. Only a system
administrator can allocate access privileges.
To allocate user privileges:
1. In the Menu toolbar click the User icon to display the User setup screen.
2. Click the Privilege submenu. The Privilege setup screen appears.
