GENERAL
Carefully read the follo Z ing important information regarding installation safety and
maintenance. Keep this information boo N let accessible for further consultations. The appliance
has been designed for use in the DUCTING version air exhaust to the outside Fig.1A - Fig.1B) or
FILTERING Optional KIT0320 for 30 µ 7.2 cm) model and KIT0321 for 36 µ 91.4 cm) model.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS,
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
A. Installation Z or N and electrical Z iring must be done by quali ¿ ed person s) in accordance
Z ith all applicable codes and standards, including ¿ re-rated construction.
B. Suf ¿ cient air is needed for proper combustion and exhausting of gases through the À ue
chimney) of fuel burning equipment to prevent bac N drafting. Follo Z the heating equipment
manufacturer’s guideline and safety standards such as those published by the National Fire
Protection Association
NFPA), and the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning Engineers ASHRAE), and the local code authorities.
C. When cutting or drilling into Z all or ceiling, do not damage electrical Z iring and other hidden
utilities.
D. Ducted fans must al Z ays be vented to the outdoors.
E. This unit must be grounded.

Attention!
- Before carrying out assembly operations, open the pac N aging, ta N e the hood and place it
on a comfortable surface.
- Remove the anti-grease ¿ lter/s Fig.1C).
A. If hood installation is used Z ith the air outlet Fig.1B or Fig.4B, the Z ires set-up in the
relevant Z iring harness must be released by pulling the lever out Z ards, as indicated in
¿ gure 2, phase 1-2.
B. Disconnect the 6- Z ay quic N coupling of the motor located inside of the hood, as sho Z in
¿ gure 2. - phase 3.
C. The Z ires positioned inside of the hood are fasted Z ith a cable tie. Cut the cable tie as
sho Z n in ¿ gure 2 - phase 4.
Once transformation operations have been completed, reassemble the components follo Z ing
the steps in reverse Fig.2).
In this Z ay it Z ill be easier to manoeuvre the unit.
- If the appliance is to be mounted in DUCTING version, prepare the air evacuation hole.
- It is recommended to use an air evacuation pipe
Z ith the same diameter as the air outlet
À ange. The use of a reduction could decrease product performance and increase noise.
Attention! This product utilizes the air evacuation hole available in 2 different positions ,
Z hich can be used according to your requirements;
1 – In the upper part of the hood Fig.1A.
2 – In the rear part of the hood Fig.1B.
