to Set the Oven When Using the Temperature Probe
The display will flash “PROBE”

control will signal if the probe is inserted into
the outlet, but the oven is not programmed for
the probe.
1. Insert the probe

Press the BAKE pad.

Press the INCREASE or DECREASE
pad. The last oven temperature used
appears in the display. Continue pressing
until the desired oven temperature is
displayed.

5. Press the PROBE UPPER OVEN pad.

6. Press the INCREASE or DECREASE
pad until the desired internal probe
temperature is displayed.
The oven will start automatically. The words
“BAKE ON” and the roasting temperature you
set will be in the display.
a few seconds, the words “LO PROBE” will
replace the roasting temperature in the display.
After the internal temperature of the meat reaches
the changing internal temperature will be
shown in the display.
7.
When the internal temperature of meat
CLEAR
reaches the temperature you have set,
OFF
the probe and the oven turn off and the
oven control signals. To stop the signal,
press the
pad. Use hot
pads to remove the probe from the
food. Do not use tongs to pull on
it–they might damage it.
CAUTION: To prevent possible burns, do not
unplug the probe from the outlet until the oven has
cooled. Do not store the probe in
oven.
NOTE:
●
You will not be able to use the probe in the upper
oven during timed oven operations. This is because
with the probe you are cooking by temperature
rather than time.
●
You can use the timer even though you cannot use
timed oven operations.
●
A fan may automatically turn on and off to cool
internal parts. This is normal and the fan may
continue to run even after the oven is turned off.
To change the oven temperature during the
–
Roast cycle, press the BAKE pad and then
the INCREASE or DECREASE pad to
the
new temperature.
