Remove the 6 Phillips-head screws and the front
brace from the dishwasher.

Locate the wires leading to the heating element
terminals and pull down the 2 nylon terminal
covers.

Disconnect the 2 wires from the heating
element.

Remove the outer 8 mm nut that attaches the
ground wire to the element mounting bolt.

9.

Lift the right side of the element and release it
from the 2 retainers.

11.

Remove the inner 8 mm nut, washer, and spacer
that attaches the element to the bottom of the
tub.
