EVT-Pro Software – Calculate Hardware Requirements

the GE Energy 
valve database

Select a valve from 
the Vendor 
database.

Valve technician 
can enter a custom 
seat area

Seat Diameter is 
greyed out for GE 
Energy valves.

Select area units

Enter expected set 
pressure

Enter the process 
or line pressure.

Force Overload:  Always use 10 so that 
the calculations will mirror the actual 
testing force overload.

Once data is 
entered click to 
calculate hardware 
requirements

Results.  The laptop has computed the 
displayed cylinder/ load cell 
combination for the highest accuracy 
with regards to the entered valve 
parameters.
