5.1. INSTALLING THE PRESSURE REGULATOR
WARNING!
• Check the color code on the handwheel and the gas type and outlet pressure on the rating
plate.
• Only install the pressure regulator if the colour code, gas type and outlet pressure meet your
requirements!
5.1.1. INSTALLATION ON THE WALL ADAPTER WITH G 3/8“ F.

5. INSTALLATION /OPERATION PRESSURE REGULATOR EMD
3100
The EMD 3100 allows you to set the working pressure for a certain consumer. This is done
independently of other consumers connected up to the central gas supply. The EMD 3100 is
provided with an integrated patented shut-off mechanism, replacing an inlet shut-off valve. As
modular option you might attach a regulating valve, which might be used for shut-off purposes
too.
WARNING!
• Disconnect pressure source before disassembling! Toxic, corrosive or flammable gases have
to be purged out before disassembly in order to avoid injuries of the operator. Fire-, explosion-
or intoxication hazard!
