Filtered bypass is for if there is an extended problem that can not be fixed right away. Filtered bypass will still provide carbon and
sediment filtration to your points of use. Tank will not refill while in bypass. System pressure will read zero psi.
Put the system into filtered bypass
1. Turn OFF all the switches on the water storage unit and unplug the unit.
2. Turn the feed water going to the unit OFF. The “Outgoing Pressure” gauge should drop to zero.
3. Turn OFF the “Drain” valve (4).

Remove the tubing from the “RO Out” fitting (3).
5.
Remove the plug from the “Filtered Bypass” fitting (2) and install into “RO OUT” fitting (3).
6.
Install the tubing you removed from the “RO Out” (3) into the “Filtered Bypass” fitting (2).
7. Turn the blue valve (1) on the side of the unit ON.
8. Turn the yellow bypass handle located on the front panel of the water storage unit (Location on the water storage unit)
towards ON.
9. Turn the feed water going to the unit ON. The “Incoming” and “Outgoing” gauges should both begin to read pressure.
Removing the system from filtered bypass
1. Turn the feed water going to the unit OFF.
2. Turn the yellow bypass handle located on the front panel of the water storage unit (Location on the water storage unit)
towards OFF.
3. Turn the blue valve (1) on the side of the unit OFF.
4.
Remove the tubing from the “Filtered Bypass” fitting (2).
NOTE:
Plug will have slight pressure behind it.
5.
Remove the plug from the “RO Out” fitting (3) and install into “Filtered Bypass” fitting (2).
6.
Install the tubing you removed from the “Filtered Bypass” (2) into the “RO Out” fitting (3).
7. Turn ON the “Drain” valve (4).
8. Turn the feed water going to the unit ON.
9. Plug in the unit and turn ON all the switches on the processing unit.
