This procedure describes how to load a roll of
mount adhesive using the lower unwind position for
decaling. At this point you should have an upper roll
of film loaded onto the laminator.

Ensure no brake tension is applied to the film
shaft.
Adhere the mount adhesive to the loaded upper
roll of film by pulling the mount adhesive straight
up towards the main rollers. Do not web around
the lower idler.

ROCEDURE
This procedure describes how to feed two loaded
films through the main rollers. At this point you
should have the upper lower rolls of film loaded onto
the laminator with the appropriate material for your
application. The figure shows threading for thermal
(solid lines) and PSA (dashed lines) films.
NOTE:
When loading PSA films, the chill idler must
be removed.

Install the table and safety shield.
Push the threading card into the main roller nip.
The threading card becomes sandwiched
between the upper and lower loaded films.
Set the roller handle to a laminating position.
Press the
Run
button.
Once the threading card has exited the laminator,
press the
STOP
button.

f you are not running the laminator, set the roller
handle to the
RELEASE
position.
