BOSCH SYSTEEM

Activating the system on the display

7. Activate the electrical system by briefly

pressing -button

on the display

briefly once or by pressing -button

on the battery briefly once.

The electrical system can only be
activated if the following conditions

have been met:

■

A sufficiently charged battery has

been fitted, see

section 4.3 “Charging

the battery”.

■

The display is fitted correctly in its

holder, see

section 5.1.3 “Fitting and

removing the display”.

■

The speed sensor has been connected

correctly, see

chapter 7 “Speed sensor”.

Activating the system on the battery pack

8. Check your battery charge status by

looking at the LED indicator lights on
the battery

or on your display

. Each

LED indicator light which is lit represents
around 20% of charged battery capacity.

9. You can select the desired assistance
level by pressing the / buttons on the
control unit: ECO (adequate),

TOUR

(steady),

SPORT

(powerful),

TURBO

(maximum) or no

assistance (OFF).

The drive will be activated as soon as you
start pedalling (except in the walk assist
function, see

section 5.2.1 “Walk assist”)
