9. Attach the lower arm to the
elbow joint.
10. Insert the screw socket into
the elbow joint colser to the
median plane of the simulator.
11. Place the screw into the other
side of the elbow joint and
fasten until the connection is
secure.
4.3 Intraosseous Access
Setting up an intraosseous access
line is an invasive procedure that
can be simulated with the Premie
Blue.
The intraosseous access kit in-
cludes: modiied tibia bones, a luid
dispensing syringe, synthetic blood
concentrate, and an additional skin
cover.
