10. With most types of food you will get best results by pulsing. For this, shortly press
down the jar several times.
11. If you wish to process your food continuously for several seconds, while holding
the jar pressed down turn the jar clockwise to lock it safely in place. The jar may
not wobble or tilt.
12. When your food has reached the desired consistency, remove the jar from the
motor base. If you have locked the jar on the motor base, turn the jar counter-
clockwise and pull it straight up to remove it.
13. Unplug the appliance.
14. Turn the jar upright and unscrew the blade assembly by turning it counter-clock-
wise. Only hold the blade assembly by its base to avoid cutting yourself, while
rinsing the blade assembly under clear tap water.
Tip:
You may store your food in the jar quite a while with the lid (normal lid or Sip &
Seal lid) in place. If you have mixed some beverages, it is best to use the Sip &
Seal lid. Twist the lid to seal and pour out as you like. However, you should not
use the jar for storing food in general to avoid discolouration and excessive wear.
In any case, avoid to leave any food go bad in the jar.
15. If you wish to store your food in the jar for a while, simply screw one of the pro-
vided lids onto the jar.
16. After usage, clean the appliance according to the instructions in chapter ›Care
and Cleaning‹.
IMPORTANT:
Do not leave the appliance unattended while connected to the power
supply. Always unplug the motor base when the appliance is not in use. It is best to
store the blade assembly attached to an empty jar when not in use.
