Important:
The scale platform is an essential precision part of the scale and must
be handled with care. Unscrew the scale platform for cleaning (see: ‘Using the
Scale’). However, do not immerse the scale platform into any liquids.
With liquids
seeped into the scale platform (between metal top plate and plastic base), the
accuracy of the scale could be reduced considerably.
Turn the scale platform counter-clockwise to unscrew the scale platform. If required,
clean the scale platform using a soft, damp cloth and, thereafter, wipe dry.Pull out
the locking pins at both sides of the lid. Thereafter, you can open up the lid manu-
ally. However, always support the lid with one hand, when it is opened up. Do
not let the lid fall down onto the locks in the base to avoid damage. Pull out the
drip tray from the vacuum chamber. Wash the drip tray in warm dishwater. Then
wipe dry thoroughly and leave dry naturally

appliance and cannot be moved manually.
