3. Place the ice container into the appliance and close the lid. Insert the power
plug into a wall power outlet. The operation indicator (
) flashes. If required,
press the selction button
for changing the size of the ice bullets or selecting the
cleaning function. The appropriate indicator illuminates. You can change your
selection any time you like, during operation. However, while the appliance is
running, the cleaning function is not available.
4. Press the power button . The operation indicator (
) illuminates continuo-
usly and the appliance starts operation immediately. Depending on the water tem-
perature and room temperature, the first ice bullets are ejected after 7-15 minutes.
5. During operation, you may open the lid and take out the ice bullets whenever
you like. We recommend to use the provided ice shovel or small plastic babe-
cue tongs. Do not leave this utensil within the ice container. After removing the
ice, close the lid to avoid useless energy loss.
CAUTION
– When removing the ice container, water may drip even when
the ice container is empty. Place the ice container on a low bowl or tablet to avo-
id water damage to delicate floor covering and/or the danger of slipping.
6. If the water level in the water tank is too low, the tank indicator (
) illuminates
and the appliance switches off. Remove the ice container and fill fresh, cold drin-
king water into the water tank. Then replace the ice container and, if required,
press the power button ( ) for starting operation again.
7. If the ice container is full (approx. 1.5 kg ice) the ice container indicator illuminates
( ).
If you wish to operate the appliance further on, remove at least some ice bullets. After
approx. 5 seconds, the appliance starts operation again automatically.
NOTE
U If you need the ice for some hours only (e.g. for your party), there is no need to
remove the ice from the ice maker, because it will be kept for many hours. For this,
it is not required to keep the appliance running and consuming energy needlessly.
Instead, switch off and unplug the appliance as soon as the required amount of
ice bullets is produced.
8.
After usage:
If the required amount of ice is procuded, press the power button
(
) and wait for approx. 1 minute until the ice producing system reaches
the standby position. Then unplug the appliance. Remove the ice container and
empty any residues of ice and water completely (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’).
