The suspension se

cal, because if not done properly
can keep even the best rider far from a full performance on the motorcycle. Check
the suspension according to the driver and terrain condi

ons.
When tuning the suspension do not forget:
•
If the bike is new, get used to the suspension for at least an hour of riding
before making any changes.
•
Factors to consider are the rider’s weight, ability of the rider and terrain
condi
ti
ons.
•
If you have problems, try changing your posi
ti
on on the bike to reduce it.
•
You must adjust the suspension to the strengths of the rider. If you are fast
on turns, adjust the suspension at this point.
•
Make changes in small increments as it is very easy to miss.
•
The front and rear suspension must be balanced.
• When
evalua
ti
ng the suspension, the rider must take conscioussnes and
recognize the e
ff
ects of the change. A rider posi
ti
on and / or fa

incorrectly view on se

•
When the proper change for a par
ti
cular terrain is found it should be writ-
ten down for reference when returning to a similar terrain.
•
Lubricate swingarm bearings, rods, rocker and joints before making chan-
ges to prevent excessive fric
