Follow the on-screen instructions to add your device to the 

Garmin Express software.
When setup is complete, the Garmin Express software 

searches for software updates.

Select an option:
• To install all available updates, click 

Install All

• To install a single update, click 

View Details

 and select an 

update.

The Garmin Express software downloads the updates onto the 

USB flash drive.
After you finish downloading the software updates onto the 

USB flash drive, you should install the updates onto the dock

Installing Downloaded Updates onto the RV HUB Dock

Before you can install updates onto the dock, you must 

download them onto a prepared USB flash drive using Garmin 

Express (

Turn on the vehicle, and place the RV HUB remote in the 

RV HUB dock.
The dock must be receiving power to install the updates.

 WARNING

Do not attempt to update the software while operating the 

vehicle.

Plug the USB flash drive into the USB port in your vehicle or 

on the back of the dock.

Select the dock device name.
The default name is RV-BBT60X.
The dock installs the software updates from the USB flash 

drive.

NOTICE

Do not turn off the vehicle until the update process is complete.

The dock restarts during the update process, and the remote 

disconnects from the dock. When the remote reconnects to the 

dock and 

 appears in the status bar, the update is complete.

Device Care

NOTICE

Avoid dropping your device.
Do not store the device where prolonged exposure to extreme 

temperatures can occur, because it can cause permanent 

damage.
Never use a hard or sharp object to operate the touchscreen, or 

damage may result.
Do not expose the device to water.

Cleaning the Outer Casing

NOTICE

Avoid chemical cleaners and solvents that can damage plastic 

components.

Clean the outer casing of the device (not the touchscreen) 

using a cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.

Wipe the device dry.

Use a soft, clean, lint-free cloth.

If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with water.

If using a dampened cloth, turn off the device and disconnect 

the device from power.

Gently wipe the screen with the cloth.

Device Information

Charging the RV HUB Remote Battery

NOTE: 

This Class III product shall be powered by an LPS power 

supply.
You can charge the RV HUB remote battery using any of these 

methods.
• Place the remote in the dock, and turn on the vehicle.

The dock charges the remote. The battery icon in the status 

bar indicates the charge level. It takes approximately two 

hours to fully charge the battery.

• Attach the remote to the optional automobile mount, and 

connect the mount to vehicle power using the vehicle power 

cable included with the automobile mount.

• Connect the device to an optional power adapter accessory, 

such as a wall power adapter.
You can purchase an approved Garmin AC-DC adapter 

suitable for home or office use from a Garmin dealer or 

garmin.com

. The device may charge slowly when connected 

to a third-party adapter.
