NOTES:

1. ALL WIRES 20 AWG FOR THE POWER AND GROUND CONNECTIONS.

2. A MANUALLY RESETTABLE CIRCUIT BREAKER MUST BE USED FOR

THE GNS 480 PRIMARY POWER INPUT.

3. THE NAV ANTENNA MUST BE A COMBINED VOR/LOCALIZER/

GLIDESLOPE ANTENNA. USE OF A SPLITTER/COMBINER IF
SEPARATE VOR AND GLIDESLOPE ANTENNAS ARE USED ON THE
AIRCRAFT IS NOT RECOMMENDED.

4. CAUTION: TWO SETS OF PRIMARY POWER AND GROUND PINS ARE

PROVIDED ON P1. BOTH SETS MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE
AIRCRAFT POWER SOURCE TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.

5. THE GPS ANTENNA COAXIAL CABLE MUST BE DOUBLE OR TRIPLE

SHIELDED AND THE GPS ANTENNA COAXIAL CABLE LOSS
(INCLUDING CONNECTORS) MUST BE BETWEEN 3dB AND 7dB.

6. GARMIN AT SPLITTER P/N 115-0007 (OR EQUIVALENT) MUST BE

USED.
