•
L/R engine data remains valid.
•
XPDR 2 is Inoperative.
•
GMA 2 Is Inoperative.
•
AHRS 2 is using backup GPS source.
•
AHRS 1 not receiving backup GPS Information.
•
An amber BOTH ON GPS1 is displayed on PFD 1 and PFD 2.
•
AHRS and ADC data remain valid on PFD 1 and PFD 2.
6. Close GIA2 CB. Allow system to re-acquire satellites and return to normal display
modes.
7. Open GIA1 primary and secondary CBs and GIA2 CB.
8. Verify the following:
•
NAV 1, COM 1, NAV 2, and COM 2 flag invalid on both PFD 1 and PFD 2.
•
GPS CDI flags DR on PFD.
•
NAV 1 & NAV 2 CDI loses deviation bar.
•
XPDR field flags invalid on PFD.
•
Engine Instrument field flags invalid on MFD.
•
All AHRS & ADC fields remain valid.
•
Red AFCS status annunciation given.
•
If equipped with TAWS, TAWS FAIL annunciation given.
•
If equipped with ADF and/or DME, ADF/DME windows flag invalid.
9. Restore power to both GIA units. The G1000 Redundant Connections Check is
complete.
