Initial Usable Fuel Page

Leaning Assist Mode

NOTE:

The pilot should follow the engine manufacturer’s recommended

leaning procedures in the Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH).

Accessing Leaning Assist Mode:

Press the

ENGINE

Softkey to display the Engine Page.

Press the

ASSIST

Softkey to identify peaks.

When the

ASSIST

Softkey is pressed, the system initially highlights the number

and places a light blue box around the EGT readout of the cylinder with the hottest
EGT. The

∆

Peak temperature is the difference between the peak temperature and the

present temperature for the peaked cylinder. When the first peak is detected, “1st” is
annunciated below that cylinder’s EGT bar and the temperature is enclosed in a light
blue box.
