Shipping Damage Claim Procedure
Please note that Garland equipment is carefully inspected and packed by skilled personnel before leaving the factory. The
transportation company assumes full responsibility for safe delivery upon acceptance of the equipment. What to do if the
equipment arrives damaged:
1. File a claim immediately regardless of the extent of damage.
2. Be sure to note, “visible loss or damage,” on the freight bill or express receipt and have the person making the delivery
sign it.
3. Concealed loss or damage: if damage is unnoticed until the equipment is unpacked, notify the freight company
immediately, (within 15 days), and file a concealed damage claim.
