The aforementioned vibration emission level (vibration value) has been measured in
accordance with a test method standardised in EN ISO 5395-1:2013 and can be used to
compare one device to another. It is also suited for preliminary estimation of loading
by vibration. The actual vibration emission value can, as described below, differ by
type of application:
• Is the equipment in good condition and has it been properly maintained?
• How and for which material is the device used.
• Use of the right accessories and whether they are in good condition.
• A firm grip of the equipment by the operator.
• Is the equipment being used as described in this user manual?
If the equipment is improperly used it can cause vibration-related ailments.

Depending on the type of use or conditions of use, the following safety measures
must be taken to protect the user:
− Avoid exposure to vibrations as much as possible.
− Only use accessories in perfect working order.
− Wear vibration-damped gloves when using this tool.
− Follow this user manual to service and carry out maintenance on the device.
− Plan your work steps so as not to use strongly vibrating tools over several consec-
utive days.
Disposal
Disposing of the packaging
− Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Cardboard and cartons
should be disposed of in the paper recycling, films in the waste
recycling.
Disposing maintenance materials and operating equipment
− If at some point it is no longer possible to use the lawn mower, turn it in at a
collection point in your community/borough. This ensures that old devices are
recycled properly and also avoids negative impact on the environment.
