4. Initial Operation
A Commissioning the Pond Filter and Fountain :
1. Place the Pond Filter and Fountain on a firm base so that the
filter housing

is fully covered with water (max. 2 m under
water).
2. Plug mains plug into an AC power socket.
Warning: Pump will start immediately.
3. Adjust the water flow with the regulating
valves

so that the flow rate is
correct for the fountain / gargoyle.

Water Bell, Fleur-de-Lis and Water Jet :
screw the fountain insert into the nozzle
tube until the fountain achieves the
desired shape.
Note :
The ball joint

can be used to
compensate for uneven ground.
B Commissioning the Pond Filter and stepped nipple :
1. Place the Pond Filter and stepped nipple on a firm base so that
the filter housing

is fully covered with water (max. 2 m under
water).
2. Plug mains plug into an AC power socket.
Warning: Pump will start immediately.
5. Maintenance
Warning ! Electric shock !

Disconnect the pump from the mains before working on it.
Do not use any hard objects or powerful detergents for cleaning
the set!
1. Take the Pond Filter out of the water and unscrew the nozzle
tube

3. Remove the pump

4. Remove filter gravel

5. Wash out the filter housing

under running water.
6. Place the biological surface filter

in clean water (do not wash
it under running water).
7. Reassemble the Pond Filter in the reverse order. Be sure to
route the cable in its guides
