5. Hold the pump firmly by the handle

5. Maintenance

Turn off the motor and unplug the spark plug connector
before carrying out all maintenance work.
Regular maintenance and adjustments are important in order to
keep the motor in perfect working order.

Only use oils labelled SE or SF.
1. Unscrew the oil dipstick

from the oil filler neck

, pull out
and wipe clean.
2. Insert the oil dipstick

into the oil filler neck

, do not screw
in and remove again.
3. If there is no oil on the oil dipstick

, pour in oil.
4. Select the appropriate oil from the table according to the aver-
age ambient temperature.
5. Pour in oil up to the upper edge of the oil filler neck

screw the oil dipstick

back into the oil filler neck

Tip :
Drain the oil when the motor is still warm to ensure that the
oil is drained quickly and completely. The oil tank holds 0.1 litres.

2. Tilt the pump towards the oil filler neck

and drain the oil
into a suitable container.
3. Pour in the new oil up to the upper edge of the oil filler neck
and screw the oil dipstick

back into the oil filler neck

4. Dispose of the old oil according to the appropriate environmen-
tal regulations.
The motor is designed for the combustion of normal petrol
(octane number 86 or higher). The petrol tank holds 0.65 litres.
1. Check the level of the petrol in the transparent petrol tank.
2. If the tank is empty or if there is only a small amount of petrol
in the tank, pour in petrol.
3. Carefully tilt the pump to the side so that the petrol cap
F
faces upwards.
4. Unscrew the petrol cap

and pour in petrol up to the lower
edge of the petrol filler neck

5. Screw the petrol cap
F
back on and tighten by hand.
