Possible cause
Rotary switch of non-return
valve is set to
START

Non-return valve of the
manometric switch is blocked.
Seal failed on the output side
(leak).
Deposits of dirt on the impeller
of the dry-running safety
device.
Throughput was < 140 l/h for
several minutes.
Remedy

Turn rotary switch to
RUN
.

Clean non-return valve
(see 7. Maintenance).

Check outlet and all hose
and accessories connected
to it for leaks.

Contact GARDENA Service.

Increase throughput.
Note:
Even a small leak (loss of just a few ml) can cause the
pressure to drop below the pressure needed for switching
on the pump. The cause is often small leaks in taps or WC-
cisterns.
Shortage of water during operation. The pump tries to draw in
water twice (4 min. pumping time with 1 minute interval).
The pump is in the wait position before starting new attempts at
suction after 1 min / 1 h / 5 h / 24 h.
The pump tries to draw in water 3 times (4 minutes pumping time
in each case after 1 h / 5 h / 24 h interval).
After 5 suction attempts, the pump switches off.

Leak on the suction side.
