10.3 Event > Tamper Detection
Tamper Detection
Camera detects the tampering with analyzes the video image. When the camera angle
is moved, covered or sprayed to the front cover, defocusing severely, it can be triggered
to an alarm event.
Tamper detection can be set to LOW, MID, HIGH or OFF.
Notes: Too simple or dark background cause detection fail ratio.
Indoor light (or similar situation) turn ON or OFF would cause False Detections.
If the video scene is similar or same between
‘
before
’
and
‘
after
’
angle
change, it cause detection fail.
This function is added from FW1558 and later.
10.4 Event > Mapping
It is possible to define conditions that would cause the camera to respond with certain
actions. A triggered event happens as a result of a trigger, which could be motion
detection, an external alarm input or tamper detection.
For example,
Alarm out events could be triggered by video motion detection, alarm in or tamper
detection.
E-mail could be sent by either video motion detection, alarm in or tamper detection.
