PTZ Profile Configuration

PTZ Profile Configuration

Since every PTZ camera has different characteristics and a different response (e.g. pan/tilt
speeds vary according to the manufacturer), this has to be accounted for by means of a PTZ
"profile". The PTZ profile is a collection of camera specific settings that define the
characteristics of a particular PTZ camera.

The device contains profiles for cameras that have already been tested, but new profiles can
be created and/or uploaded if the camera does not appear in the list of pre-tested profiles.

PTZ profile configuration consists of four main subject areas:

1.

Creating a new PTZ profile

2.

Editing an existing PTZ profile

3.

Removing a user created PTZ profile

4.

Auto-calibrating a PTZ profile for a given PTZ camera
